Things to be updated

Well, got the condenser and the point ignition parts and still working on the bike. The electrical seems healthy now since the neutral indicator lit brighter. But... the test ride got halted by sudden ignition loss. And... when I turned the ignition the next morning, it came back on... well

ついに最後のパーツが届きやっとこさつけてみました。とりあえず変化としてはニュートラルのランプが明るくなったこと。しかし、試運転ではすぐに電気が切れてしまいハテナ。しかも次の朝にはなおっているハテナ・・・

while I'm waiting on some parts..

I was asked to build a snare drum.
My 14" 10 lug was made out of aluminium and wasn't that great sounding. But friend asked me to make his one in 8 lug. I decided to use steel since I can weld them instead of using screws to put them together. Well it was done rather quickly and I just let him play with it for a while, see how he likes it.

スネアを昔作ったことがあって友達に作ってくれーって依頼されまして。最初に作ったやつはアルミ製の10ラグ、でも今回はスチールの8ラグ。意外と音には満足じゃないんだけど見た目は結構いい感じ。とりあえず仮完成した物をちょっと試してもらう事に。

Cafer Racer... Almost..

well I got the ignition coil and finally got to replace it with the old one from the 70s.
But... not enough spark yet... So the next suspect is the condenser which I may get it this week or so?

やっと来たイグニッションコイルですが・・・花火はそれほど強くならず。あとはコンデンサーを待つばかりとなりましてはたして原因が電気系統だったかもわからずじまい。

just waiting for the ignition coil to come and then this bike will be a brand new racer for good!

あとは、イグニッションコイルを待つばかり。ようやくちゃんとしたバイクになります。
